Novelist Monica Wood & Rich at an April 2009 writing conference in Maine sponsored by the Maine Writing Project & the University of Maine. Rich directs the writing project and is longtime friends with Monica. In fact, Monica's sister Anne has been Rich's editor and dear friend  for nearly 30 years.
